January 2025 Newsletter

I have been very busy renovating my cottage in Wiltshire over the last six months and hence the delay in this newsletter. However, as 2025 starts I am very happy to show new work and to have more creative time again!

A big thank you to customers who purchased sculptures from me in 2024 from galleries showing my work and at Burghley Horse Trials and to everyone who has expressed an interest in my work.

I am now working part time at The Gallery Hungerford where I am Artist in Residence and will be painting in situ in the coming months, as well as painting with The Rosvik Group of artists. It would be lovely to see you there to discuss my work and any ideas for individual projects in such a lovely gallery.

I have some new equestrian sculptures which will be online shortly, as well as my new botanical pieces which are ideal interior design gems. Do contact me by email if you have any queries related to these.

Equus, pictured throughout this newsletter, is inspired by work by the great masters but also by the White Horses on the chalk hills of Wiltshire. Living in Wiltshire now I love the dialogue these wonderful chalk horses create between Man and Horse both in the present day and historically.

Thank you to Dan Garland for his professional photography on the recent photo shoot in a beautiful historic house full of character which Kate Birch kindly allowed me to showcase as a backdrop to my new sculptures. I hope these photographs will confirm how wonderfully bronze sculpture sits in a home environment.

Please continue to view my website  to see new images of recent work and do spread the word if you have friends and family who may be interested in that special gift.

Looking forward to a very Creative 2025

Helen
