April 2024 Newsletter

TIME flies when you are having fun, and such is the case with my recent work!

I have really enjoyed working on new equine sculptures and further training with The Sculpture School in Devon and would like to thank Andrew Sinclair MRSS SWAc for his continued support.

I have also been making Botanical stems in Bronze. These are sculpted using wax and then cast using "The Lost Wax Casting process," where the wax is melted, and no mould is made. This results in unique sculptures of my chosen botanicals; ideal to display in interiors or in the garden. They are symbolic and so ideal as a gift or for an occasion such as a special wedding or anniversary, or as a remembrance.

The new equine sculptures will be on my website by the summer, and I look forward to exhibiting new work including the botanicals at RHS Wisley UK Craft in Focus event 2-6th May 2024

I am very honoured to have had my sculptures selected for the Cotswold Sculpture Park 2024 exhibition which is open from now until the 30th of September 2024, do visit, it is well worth it, with a huge variety of work on display.

My work will also be exhibited at The Fresh Art Fair at Cheltenham racecourse from 25-28th April. I hope to see you there or at any other of these events where I am happy to discuss my work or your ideas for commissions.

Later in the year as a member of The Cotswold Sculptors Association I will be showing my work at the "Creating Spaces 2024 " Exhibition at Great Miserden  from 18th May -18th August 2024, another wonderful venue to explore.

Thank you also to The Little Bedwyn Gallery Hungerford, a wonderful independent gallery in Hungerford who have continued to sell my work.

Please continue to visit my website  to see new images of recent work and do spread the word if you have friends and family who may be interested in that special gift!

Wishing you all lots of Spring Sunshine and Inspiration,
